Kanupriya & Dhruv: how their invites were made

A Glimpse Into the Craft

Kanupriya, the bride, is a visual designer who created the artwork for her own wedding invitations and entrusted us with bringing her vision to life.

This is the story of how Kanupriya and Dhruv’s wedding invitations were crafted at Famous.

The Brief

On 23 September 2025, we connected with Kanupriya regarding her wedding stationery. She envisioned invitations that blended tradition with a sense of modern elegance. The couple planned an intimate wedding followed by multiple events leading up to and after the wedding day, and the invites had to reflect that warmth and charm.

The Paper

To keep the invitations cost-effective without compromising on quality, we suggested Monroe—our fine cotton paper selection from the Essentials Collection. For the envelopes, they chose Oslo Old Rose, a beautiful shade that complemented the design perfectly.

The Print

They opted for a blend of traditional letterpress and contemporary digital printing. Kanupriya shared her digital artwork, and our design team developed the letterpress elements she wanted to incorporate. The final invites brought both styles together seamlessly—and the best part was that she loved the outcome.
